I’m a Registered Nurse in the Post-Lung and Kidney clinics at VGH. My primary role is to care for, support, and educate post-lung and kidney transplant recipients so they may achieve the highest quality of life and health with the gift they have received, and in doing so, honour the donor and their families.

I’ve been working within the area of transplant for five years.  I was assigned the Solid Organ Transplant ward at VGH as my final placement for my UBC nursing degree.  While working in the ward, I was able to be a part of and witness so many amazing stories of gratitude, strength, and compassion.  After completing my practicum, I knew I had found my passion and I applied for a full-time position.

The area of my work I find most rewarding is being a part of a profoundly life changing experience for the patient and the relationships I have the honour of developing with them following these events. The expertise, enthusiasm, and dedication of the interdisciplinary team that cares for these patients also continues to inspire me every day.
